I’m curious, do you read through your entries after/as you’re writing them?
I do (I can’t really help it), and I find myself editing quite a lot.

While it’s interesting to look directly into someone’s mind through the viewing port of LJ, I think I aim more for a distilled practical upshot rather than a blow-by-blow… except when I ramble, and then god help anyone reading.

You can use “such” as a noun. I’m not sure about the phrase “such like that”, but that’s probably because the structure I’ve always seen built around the noun use of “such” implies the “like” without saying it.
You know: examples, and such. The structure’s just an abbreviated version of the same thing.
