i remember once in an smt meeting we were talking about priests and father peter commented that there will be married preists before woman priests. i forgot his reasoning for that though.

It was stated by Pierre.

Well, there are actual married priest already! The reasoning is social surrounding.

In some places in Africa, for example, a man is not a respectable person unless he is married, so the priests there need to be married to be socially respected by the culture.

Also, another reason the Church would need to allow women to be priestesses or priests to be married is if there were a shortage of clergy–
keeping in mind that females are not the dominant gender in some places in the world, the Church would rather have men get married and send them over to those places.

there can be married preists in episcopalian churches right? what about women?

Episcopalians/Anglicans have both!!! They have male and female clergy, and they can all get married!

The Religious Studies major has spoken. Haha.
